We favor a collaborative solution whenever possible
Nisha Bacchus operates under the guiding principles of collaborative law. Collaborative law is a streamlined process to handle the marriage dissolution process. Under collaborative law, the participating parties agree to certain conditions like not threatening to sue each other, and using a mediator. Collaborative law begins with agreements for certain points like what to do with certain assets, and works through each issue one at a time.
Collaborative law is typically a much faster process, can help maintain relationships and can often result is significant savings compared to the traditional divorce process. However, collaborative divorces are not for everyone. Some couples may have too many disagreements or may not be in a state of amicability for a collaborative law divorce. Additionally, any issues unable to be resolved via collaborative law will have to be resolved in a traditional divorce court.
Collaborative Paternity
Nisha Bacchus also provides counseling regarding collaborative paternity, which is a specific section of collaborative law that deals with child custody and care. These meetings typically take place in an informal setting like an office or home, rather than in a court. Some of the issues discussed in collaborative paternity cases include:
- Healthcare practices and medical decisions
- Religious upbringing
- Schooling
- Living arrangements
- Time spent with the child
- Finances
Personal Injury Attorneys
Getting back up after a major injury is not easy, especially when the other party refuses to take responsibility. These injuries can come as a result of negligence or an intentional act with enormous consequences to the affected party. Between stacks of medical bills and the occasional threat, obtaining compensation often requires expertise in the law and a time commitment that most people simply do not have. In addition, if the accident resulted in the death of a family member, the associated grief can make it difficult to think straight.
As an experienced personal injury lawyer, Nisha Bacchus can guide you through each step of the legal process including:
- Filing claims
- Pressing for compensation
- Responding to legal requests
- Court and legal representation
Nisha Bacchus represents clients injured as a result of:
- Car Accidents
- Premises Liability
- Medical Malpractice
- Dog Bites
- Wrongful Death
- Workplace Injuries
- Nursing Home Negligence
The injures that may come as a result of negligence or injury can include amputation, paralysis, or traumatic brain injuries. These injures are severe and can result in expensive medical bills and often time away from work and rehabilitation. If you or a loved one have suffered a serious personal injury or death, contact the dedicated personal injury attorneys at Bacchus Law Firm immediately.
